This is the third update for Mike Stone's Consolidated PBY5A. I have added another float point, and this time found the cause for it sticking on water and fixed it. It was the minimum pitch angle of the props. This update has everything any of the others had, so you only need this one. You do need the original aircraft.

Unzip to a folder of your choice. After backing up your air, aircraft.cfg, and panel.cfg files, replace them with the ones in this update. Copy the gauge and effect to the main FS gauges and effects folders. No need to overwrite what is already there.

The aircraft.cfg file has a paint section not with the original aircraft, but the textures can be found on the same page, near the original aircraft at simviation. You may also have more paints than I have of the aircraft. If you do, you will have to copy the paint sections from your old aircraft.cfg file, and possibly delete one, or both, paint sections of the updated aircraft.cfg file.

The aircraft will start to move on water now when you give it a bit more than half throttle. For me 60% or more throttle has it moving immediately.

Anyone: You have my permission to use any of my updates with the following conditions: One, you don't try to make money with them. Two, you don't try to hurt, or take something from anyone by using them.
